School Age Care

The School Age Program is designed to support working parents of children ages 5 to 12. This program features a safe, age-appropriate focusing on building skills for life, which promotes social, physical, and cognitive development. The program offers both full-day camps during Spring & Summer breaks. Full-day camp during most school closures excluding federal holidays. We strive to reinforce family values and emphasize the uniqueness of each child by promoting positive attitudes and validating self-worth.

Tinker's school-age children are separated into two categories: primary (ages 5-8) and pre-teen (ages 9-12). Children's daily activities feature age-appropriate activities including art, drama, outdoor play, homework time, and more.

Child Care Options

School-Age Care offers several different options for care such as Before School Care, After School Care, Before and After School Care, and Hourly Care. Also during spring, summer and winter break they offer full time care with a variety of activities and fields trip.

Before & After School Care

This program is available for children from ages 5-12 at Tinker AFB. 

Enrollment & Fees

To enroll, please visit MilitaryChildCare.com to register. Once you are offered a slot, you will be sent an email to accept. You will then come to the program to complete all necessary paperwork. Your child must be current in all immunizations including the flu shot.

Fees are based upon income. Parents must provide proof of income to determine fees.

Special Needs

If the child has a special need and or an allergy, paperwork must be completed by your child’s physician before they can be enrolled. Please stop by the center to pick up all necessary forms.

Parent Advisory Board


  • Parents are always welcome to visit and assist with their child's care to the extent that their duty permits.

  • The parent Advisory Board/involvement is a committee of all the CDC programs in conjunction with other CYP’s. The DAB acts only in an advisory capacity, providing recommendations for improving services. The Chairperson of the DAB is a parent.

  • The Parent Advisory Committee selects a chairperson. Each chairperson attends the Program Parent Advisory Board meeting. The Parent Advisory Board meets with the Airman and Family Readiness Center Flight Chief and Center Directors at least quarterly and with the Mission Support Group Commander at least annually. The minutes of the parent advisory meetings are forwarded to the Mission Support Group Commander for review.
